Watching the world go by

I remember this fellow when he was a much younger man. He was a worker, never content to sit still, always had some project or other on the go, you know the type.

I've spoken to him a number of times over the years, rarely a complaint passed his lips. He was the type that saw the glass half full rather than half empty.
.
The other day I saw him leaning on his railing and called up to him with a cheery hello and how you doing? "Oh good" he replied. "What you up to these days?" I said. With a smile and a twinkle in his eye he said "absolutely nothing, I've done my work and earned some peace, I'm just watching the world go by".

What a good story and nice way of introducing him to us!

  3. "With a twinkle in his eye"? Is this guy a fill in for Santa when he needs a day off? LOL

Nice photo and great commentary! Once you read your commentary and then look at the photo you can see the photo conveying the exact same thing.

These are the things I would never think of taking photos of. I'm always looking for women in bikinis!! LOL
